Angellar Manguvo is an Instructional Designer and an Associate Teaching Professor, School of Medicine, University of Missouri-Kansa City United States.
She provides expertise and support for curriculum design, implementation, and evaluation; assist with assessment of faculty development needs in education scholarship; develop and maintain personal scholarship in medical education; assist with the evaluation and assessment of academic programs within the Medical School and assist in faculty development.
Angellar holds Bachelor of Arts (B.A) from the renowned University of Zimbabwe in 2000. In 2004 and 2006, she returned to her Alma Mata where she obtained Postgraduate Diploma in Education and Master of Educational Psychology in 2004 and 2007 respectively. Angellar bagged Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Educational Psychology from the University of Missouri- Columbia in 2013.
She has 12 publications to her credit. Angellar has received six honors which include: Chancellor’s Excellence Award: Multicultural Leadership Award, East-West Center International Graduate Student Travel Award, International Engagement Award, John Bies International Award, Superior Graduate Achievement Award and Ken Lohrentz Graduate Paper Award.
